Greets everyone. just thought I'd post my install summaries.
System 1.
Asus P5GDC-V Deluxe Bios Rev 1.09 Onboard SATA/LAN Enabled
Intel Pentium 4 530j Socket 775 HT=Off
2) Kingston DDR400 1gb module in Dual chan config
3) 3com 3c905cx-tx-m
Seagate 80gb SATA drive.
Hardware detects fine, installs fine, after the install 2 of the 3com NICs show up properly in the webadmin and the 1 that shares an IRQ with the onboard shows up as a hardware hash.
System 2
Asus P4P800 SE w/ onboard LAN Enabled
Intel Pentium 4 3.0ghz HT=Disabled
2) Kingston DDR400 1gb module in Dual channel config
1) Intel Pro 1000 Copper Server NIC
1) Intel Pro 1000 Fiber Server NIC
1) Intel Pro 100s Dual port NIC
1) 3com 3c905cx-tx-m
Detects and installs fine. Problem when logging into the webadmin... the NICs either show as "No Hardware Description" or the wrong name.
One request for the installed base users... a logout script

clear
using clear; logout isn't bad but trying to make co-workers to remember the clear; portion is a tedious task.
also the "Skip Source/Destination" boxes in http proxy would be nice for Standard/Transparent
