[5.838] HTTP Proxy problems.

Hmm, same speed with and without proxy. Anyway the site is very slow also without proxy proxy.

If using the proxy the site builds up faster, but loads a litte bit longer before you see anything. But  the time from start to finish loading is the same.

Weird....  Not working like that here.. Many users reporting web browsing is much slower.

That site for me I gave up on after 2 minutes waiting, only the top graphics had displayed.

Without proxy server it loads almost instantly.

Is a valid DNS forwarder configured for the DNS proxy? If using the proxy, DNS is made by the firewall instead of the client.

Yes, same DNS proxy as when using 5.2

It may be related to surf protection perhaps?  Though it's happening with surf prot turned off too.

Will try and replicate. (Back to 5.2 now)

Is the firewall allowed to communicate on every port? Is there a firewall in front of that ASL? The surfprotection needs port 6000 to connect to the cobion servers.

Negative.  Was even slow with Surf Prot off.  As said I've gone back to 5.200 but will retry with next beta release.
