[5.800] T-DSL problem

Hi all,
since i installed v 5.800 last week on one of our systems, every day after the t-Com had forced the separation the internet connection dies and dont comes back. Only a reboot helps out.
The Installation comes out of the backup from a 5.202 system where everything works fine.
Anyone else with this problem ?

Hi firebear,

this problem should be fixed in beta 5.8.16.
There was a lib missing in the pppoe chroot that caused the reconnect script to die when it called "date".
You should see the name of the lib in the pppoe log. Just copy the lib from the /lib directory to the chroots lib directory.

But I would suggest to install the latest beta.

thanks for your answer,
in mine /var/log/pppoe.log i could find nothing wich shows to a lib wich is not there.
But i would not search longer for it, tomorrow i 'll take your tip and install the new beta.

Hi firebear,

sorry it was in /tmp/mdwdebug.log not in pppoe.log
The missing lib was librt.so.1
