Hi,
I am tired of the BETA releases called GA Release!
Here a small list of the bugs I found out in a few days:
1) Cache not working "shutting own..."
2) PPTP VPN does not work with Radius
3) Webadmin not reachable:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
4) 5.005 ISO installs fine on my Astaro, but no interface pingable
6) After updating to 5.006, my Home Firewall no kills itself second time within 24h, no interface pingable any more, after reboot everything looks fine on Monitor, but still not pingable.
Fresh install and importing backup lasts for the next 24h.
7) IPSEC VPN can only be activated when rebooting the whole firewall, before displays: IPSEC Kernel module not loaded"
8) IP count counts every IP it can see, even the firewalls won IP, all WAN on the same ISP subnet....
9) QoS is not working, tried VoIP over it, absolutely no priorisation.
10) IDS sends out crazy amount of Emails, does not interest for the exclusion of my workstation from the IDS
Another 2 days and I will find another 10 points, will now kill the 5.00X and reinstall 4.021.
Why did a company with such a good product as 4.021 irelease 5.005 as GA !
Are they nuts or moneygrabbing ?
I hope the will say sorry, downgrade 5.006 to 4.86 BETA3 and work another few months on it.
