Patch 5.004 problems

I was running 5.003 - fine..

I installed on friday the patch 5.004 and here we we go:

Squid is almost unusable and works for 1 out of 5 queries.
Memory goes up the roof (768Mb) and the swap kicks-in after 5 hours.
CPU goes up.

I disabled Virus protection for all services but it does not help. Eventually the firewall will go down when the swap is full.

    I've been experiencing the same problem with the HTTP proxy. On the web, it's maybe 1 out of 10, but what a pain it is to configure my DSL modem through its interface!

    I'm not running content filtering or virus scanning, but I am running SMTP and DNS proxies. I also went straight from the 5.001 ISO to 5.004 without playing with each version much.
