[5.003] Crash after adding a new network def.

I just added a new network definition using the web interface. If I click now on Definitions-Networks, believe it or not, all network definitions I created before are disappeared. The table is completely empty .

If I click on Packet Filter-Rules, I can see the following instead of the former network names in the source and destination column:

ref0e5d80efcdeb1cc96f3b1d539090cb1e, ref9415c845cc4c887185f57e9868ec9aab

If I remember correctly, I used German umlauts in the description field. I never did it before.

Is there a way to change it back manually?

Hi,

this a Bug in the new ASL V5. The problem are the german "Umlauts" in user editable text fields. :-( See https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/56/t/49202
for a solution. I'm very annoyed with this problem, as it's hit me in a productive enviroment, which caused much trouble and Astaro didn't mention this problem in their Bug-List. When will this issue be fixed? :-|

Remove the umlauts (&uuml,...) from /etc/confd/storage.xml and reboot your machine.
