[5.001] Interface traffic graphs peaks

I'm getting constant traffic peaks for my pppoe interface (80+ MBit/s) arround the time my provider cuts my ADSL line after 24h. The value of over 80Mbit/s is strange because I have an inbound bandwidth restriction of 1500KBit/s. My guess is that during configuration and initialization of the internet connection the bandwidth can exceed my limit of 1500KBit/s.

I can not use the Traffic graph for my pppoe interface because on the daily view I only see the peak of 80Mbit/s and nothing else. At weekly view the peaks are at ~15MBit/s, monthly view still 8Mbit/s. The yearly view is almost okay.

Strange though: The traffic graph of eth1 (ethernet interface for pppoe connections) is fine! No peaks are displayed in the daily view and weekly view arround ADSL connection reinitialization.

    i have the same problem here. i think it is a rrd tool problem but i dont know what i can do to fix it. the problem is only on the ppp0 interface.

    has anyone a idea?
