ASL 5:PPPoE down but still connected?

Hi Folks,

after upgrading from ASL4 to 5 i have some trouble with my T-DSL-connection. Sometimes Webmin reports PPPoE down. Nevertheless i can ping internet hosts from ASL but not from any host in the internal_net. And on the console i see (ifconfig) ppp0 up and operational! Any idea?
After rebooting everything works fine for a few hours.

Just solved the problem by disabling the dyndns service. Now ddclient on my webserver will do the trick.

I Got exactly the same Problem on my PPPoE Interface. I'lll try disabling the Dyndns service, but i think, anyone has to solve this Problem :-)

Im must disappoint you -- my solution was wrong. Disabling dyndns does not solve the problem. I just downgraded back to ASL4, which operates much more realiable (and faster). Sorry for any inconvenience.
