[5.001] VLAN

Okay, i missed something. Doesnt seem to be VLAN support on my 3C905B cards  [:(]
No VLAN support on any 3Com card at all when i look at the HCL-5.0.txt

According to the Astaro HCL-4.0 hardware compatibility list, the 3Com 3C905B does support VLANs. Why it won't do so in ver 5 is rather strange. Are you sure the message you got: "You cannot set up an interface of this type on the selected hardware, since it cannot coexist with another active device on the same hardware." was caused by lack of VLAN support?

You didn't by any chance try to bind a VLAN circuit to an Ethernet card that already had baseband (regular) Ethernet bound to it? If you are going to bind multiple Ethernet circuits to a single card using VLANs, they ALL have to be of the VLAN type, so you have to delete your regular connection on that interface first.

I agree here. I have only had to do the VLAN stuff once or twice, but it had to be done on a plain unconfigured interface.
