Extra processes in 5.001

In 5.001, I have no proxy or other services running except SOCKS.

I notice however that a lot of processes are running that probably don't need to be:
ips-reporter.pl
vpn-reporter.pl
smtp-reporter.pl

Each one is using 4-7MB RAM.

Hi Barry,

This is not as bad as it might look, as all reporter processes share mainly the same RAM, where the perl interpreter is loaded.

So there is no big difference in RSS usage if you have 3 or 6 of these processes running.

Hi Gert, if I kill all 3, 'free' reports about 9MB less memory used.

Maybe not a big deal, but I thought it's worth mentioning.
