[5.001] WebAdmin is.... SLOW

After upgrading to 5.001 changes to packet filter rules takes, well very long time (over 3 min). I clocked a change from 'Allow' to 'Allow HIGH' in a rule and it took allmost 5 min to finish [:(]
I know im not running on the fastest server (PIII 750, 512Mb) but it worked alot better in 5.000

    Please check the RSS size of index.fpl on the shell. My guess is that it is huge. I need more info to reproduce this. How many Network and Service Definitions do you have (number of top of tables) and how many packet filter rules? When you start a WebAdmin session is it only slow when you call up the packet filter page (meaning, is the rest of the pages still OK before?).

    On our test system index.fpl is sitting at around 31Mb most of the time and mdw_daemon.pl at around 14Mb. spamd is the only other process that is using lots of memory (15Mb even when processing a very light load).
    5.001 is much faster for us than 5.000. Much. On the other hand, it is still hitting the swap a lot on a 128Mb system. Will the minimum requirement go up to 256Mb for 5.0? This is quite important to us since it affects the systems we recommend and also how we upgrade our customers from 4.0 (some on 128Mb systems).

    yes 256 is the minimum reccomended....i run 196 here so far with good results but go with 256
