Mine is GMT also. I thought about the time at install. It was -5 hours and I changed it to current time. I believe at install keep the time as is and it should display the right time.
I've noticed the same kind of 'time bug' too. In the system settings, the time zone, date and time are set correctly. On the menu bar at the left of the screen, the time is +5 hrs.
I wonder if utilizing one of the time servers would correct this issue? I think I'll enable one and post back the results!
My ASL 5.001 is synchronizing with a time server and the display is still GMT (-12 for New Zealand) From the ASL Linux console, the time is right: Sun Apr 11 08:06:12 NZST 2004. ASL4 had the same issue in the earlier releases.
Yep, same problem. I tried changing time servers AND changing my region, and through various combinations, I could never get the time to change in webadmin. It continued to display GMT.
