POP3 Proxy not working on ASL 5 ?

yup i have the same problem here,
just reported it to astaro.

it seems dead for the most part,
if i look in the log files it seems that it is downloading the mail and after that it fails somewhere.

it allso doesn't matter if virus/spam protection is enabled (allways the same problem).

but everything is ok when there is no mail

gotta question, what is your exact configuration of the POP3 proxy, so i hopefully can reproduce the problem?

Also the same Problem here...

Outlook means " undefinded Charakter in Message"

-> Proxy of -> works ok

Hi my proxy is switched on, the internal network only is proxied, virus and spam protection are both switched on. When connecting to gmx i get the error: "The RETR command did not succeed. Mail server pop.gmx.net responded: scanner error: Scanner error" Any ideas?

after evaluating this problem we found a small packaging error of the content-filter chroot. The content filter itself works fine, but the bash inside the chroot needs libreadline which was accidently missing.
Next up2date will fix that.

Here is the workaround:

 cp -va /lib/libreadline.so.4* /var/chroot-weed/lib/

Than restart the pop3 proxy using webadmin.
