4.744 Update Query

When I run the Up2Date service, to update the System, I get the following :-

Up2Date Service
Thu Mar 25 13:39:01 GMT 2004

000 System Up2Date: Started System Up2Date
001 Running Version: 4.743
002 Checking Authentication Servers ...
003 1 Authentication Server: 128.242.207.113
004 Authenticating ...

Followed by a line across the window that was opened. I don't get the OK, message that appears on 4.021.

Is their any manual way to download the updates ? Where are they stored ?

is the firewall directly connected to the internet? if yes, check packetfilter log, if not check packetfilter log on the device inbetween

Thanks Marcel,

The v4.743 firewall is behind a v4.021 firewall, the packetfilter log does not show any details for the v4.743 firewall.

How do I configure the Beta 5 firewall to use the HTTP Proxy on the v4.021 firewall ?

I'm having the same problem, and my firewall is connected directly to the internet. What kind of packet traffic should i be looking for? It seems to check for the avp updates just fine.

check for packets on port 3333 (auth) and 4444 (download).

no way for V5 using a parent proxy atm, sorry.
