I don't know if this is a bug, a limitation, or my lack of knowledge
but I'm unable to sign certificates with a VPN ID of email address
or hostname. IPv4 address worked fine.

I should have mentioned that I get a message that my passphrase
is wrong when I know it's correct.
The exact message is:
"Certificate signing failed. Wrong CA passphrase entered ?"
