When version 5 goes gold can the beta version be updated
to the gold version through up2date or will a complete
new install be needed ? ( Home addition )
If I purchase the AV addon for the home addition will it work
in the beta ?
I'm assuming since snort is open source and available to all
that this won't disappear from the final home version?
This is probably worhty of a seperate thread . I had a
wierd although minor problem last night after an install
of beta 4.73. My 3 NIC's are displayed in the interface
management screen but the vendor and card model numbers
are mapped to the worng MAC addresses. I jotted down the
MAC addresses of the cards and the location of them in my
machine to figure out what NIC was what.
