Perhaps i having a bad evening but i found more issues with this BETA version than the previous one ( [4.737] ). Here we go:
1) up2date does not seems to work and stops at step 4 (004 Authenticating ... ) Or am i missing a license issue here?
2) the definition network group works without any problem but the packet filter rules screen is become extremly slow. With only 7 rules in it, most based on groups, it takes almost 8 seconds to show the rules. The rest of the webadmin interface responds within the second.
3) PSD does not sent a notification anymore (IPS still does) when doing a portscan.
4) A portsscan is not dropped (as in version 4) but shows all open ports. For this one i also tried to disable IPS but with no luck. I found it very nice in version 4 that it show nothing....
5) at some screens the pulldown show up at top of the menu that rolls over it.
6) hitting f5, did that a lot when working with the packet rules [:(]n screen.
I have to say that i restored a backup config from version 4.737 , perhaps did something goes wrong there altough everything seem ok.
I have not tried nessus yet so that follows i'm affraid.
