I am testing the 4.737 Beta now and I'm still thinking there's a bug in ASL. I had the same problems with V4.
I'm using the HTTP Proxy in Authentication mode and use LDAP Settings on a ADS (Windows 2000 Server) to get the user info. The user attribute is set to sAMAccountName. The bind and base DN are ok and User Authentication works. My problem is that every time I start a new IE Session ASL prompts me for user and password.
Username/PW are the same for login on my machine and login on ASL.
The program doesnt notice that the user who is logged in has access on ASL.
It is quiet annoying. I know the Authentication from MS ISA Server 2000. It detected automatically that I had the right to access the proxy when I logged into Windows with the right username and PW.
Is there anything wrong with my configuration or is there a bug in the programm?
