ipsec rsa problem

we found a bug there some days ago.. what did you use as identifier for those endpoints? 

what is the nature of this issue?  I just had the master in my HA cluster 
develop this problem after adding a serial connection between it and the slave.  
The master is now offline, and the slave is online and not experiencing this issue at all.  

uhm.. the ipsec issue just gives you 'no connection', so as a result your vpn connection details will not be written to the system and thus the connection can not come up.

the HA problem might be the result of a unstable HA daemon in 4.720.. new beta with HA fixes is in the pipe .. stay tuned [:)]

This particular problem happened on a production 4.021 cluster. 

although it'd be very interesting to investigate this issue, it's not the correct subforum here. so please either post this with some more details in the corresponding subforum or contact support.

i used on asta 1 ipv4 and email address as identifier on asta2.

could this be the problem. asta 1 is a 4.020 ipv4 and asta2 is 4.720 email identifier

the same settings works on astaro version 4.020 on both sides  

in case you are still on 4.720, edit /etc/wfe/conf/ipseclocalkeys and make sure in section [rsa_psk_id] are only 2 lines: the vpntype and the corresponding identifier. delete unneeded lines in this section OR use 4.737.. there you can have as many lines as you want [:)]
