Gigabit support.

Will Astaro be making gigabit support free now that gigabit is becoming an increasing standard on most new machines ?

It's no longer really "exotic" at all...

as far as i know it was recently a legal limitation only, have you tried it with GB cards already?

For some reason, I couldn't get v4.017 to run a single Intel Pro1000MT Desktop gigabit card, but after inserting two Pro1000MT cards, everything works just fine! However, since both my cable modem (Toshiba PCX2600) and ethernet switchs are only 100BaseT, I have not been able to see if the cards would work at gigabit speed with Astaro. In addition, this setup is also currently working great with beta 5 v4.720.
