[4.720] PPPOE still broken

p-2 350 with 196 megs pc-100
6.4 gig hdd
admin nic linksys lne100-tx pci nic
wan nic 3com 3c905b pci nic

location: maryland using Verizon DSL
Unable to connect with the latest beta.  I am wondering is that default-asynchmap command needed somewhere?  What is more strange is that smoothwall 2.0 works fine without modification on this same setup...4.0x is not problem to put that command in the ppp script..any ideas?

    i tried all three kernel boot options given at installation..tried using both nics as the wan nic....also went into the bios and gave them separate irq's instead of a shsred one....this beta will not connect.  the username requires the @ symbol..could this be triping hte pppie module up?
