my problem is ipsec is not going on after configuration with error no ipsec modules installt for this kernel. after insmod ipsec.o the modul is on but the interface is not online is in 4.720 no ipsec kernel
i have testet the config after a reboot and ipsec is up and route is set for view minutes then ipsec0 is up ppp0 is up and route is down for ppp0 route for ipsec0 is down what's here wrong the config is tha same as for V4 (from Hand not from backup)
what kind of IPSec connection did you configure ? What authentication method do you use ? Any special settings (NAT-Traversal, virtual IP address, etc.) ? Do you use L2TP ? What is your IPSec client ?
that is a Net---Net Connection with AES_PFS Policie and X509 Certivicate with Nat-Traversal and one Dyn IP this config is with V4 O.K. The Certivicates are importet from V4 the Remote Gateway is a Static IP Connection is V5 (my Net) to V4 (Remote Net)
thank you for reporting this. In the latest beta version, PPP/DSL interfaces cause trouble with IPSec. We fixed this, and it will work in the next beta.
