is it not handy to have a second gateway option on the nics. if needed you can add this. or is there a better solution for this. an example where you can use second gateway is.
you have a dsl line and a leased line. the dsl line you use as a external network. the leased line is connected to your internal network. the leased line is a isdn router which is not active untill the dsl line not functioning. when dsl line stops, then astaro gives a signal to the isdn router and this will start. if the dsl line is back it will return back to normal state and the isdn connection stops. i have a some sort of on my windows server where i have two gateways configured. all the clients have the server as gateway. default connection is the astaro and when the line drops it connects over the isnd router. it works great.
