Instal Failing

I am trying to install the new beta version of astaro v5.  I currently have v4 installed and running great on my machine.  When I try and install v5 the install gets stuck at the INIT 2.78 booting line.  The machine doesnt halt, I plugged in a usb mouse after that and still got the kernel messages saying that the device was added.

I am using an old Compaq  PII400 with 192MB or ram and a 5GB HDD.

One time out of about 30 boots I actually got the install to go past INIT 2.78 but then I accidentally hit escape and the install stopped doh!

Could the speed that I burned the ISO have anything to do with it?  Some old cd readers cant read the higher mulitiplication burnt cd's as I have seen in the past.  I will try a 2X cd next but I would appreciate any one else's opinion on this problem.

    I've also a problem to install ASL Beta 5.
    I tried to install it on a AMD Duron 900MHz, 128MB Ram, 10GB Seagate, 1 Dlink DFE 530-TX.
    I choose the "normal" installation. Wenn it rebootes, the machine hangs at runlevel 3, starting device manager

    I unplugged the CDRom, give the HDD another Jumpersetting. But all time the same result.

    Have you any ideas?
