SMP advantage

An SMP machine should be a large performance gain for the proxies and and scanners on the ASL (since they are mostly multithreaded).  

So, if I were running the SMTP and DNS proxies while using the IPS, it would be a REAL advantage.
Hmm, perhaps I'll have to pick up a used dual pentium machine. Perhaps even a dual P3.
