Actually, I did that. But I am still not able to connect to my smarthost using this method. I was able to communicate, i.e, I could netcat to host:25 (because SNAT was translating it to host:x), but I was still not able to send outgoing mail via my smarthost.
Hmm. I guess I need to talk with my host and figure out what kind of information I can get about the SMTP exchange between me and my smarthost.
Here is the information from the site. I just got an email from the admin of dyndns.org, and he said that many proxies do not correctly implement authentication, and that is why I can't get in. Basically, he's saying Astaro isn't doing the authentication correctly...[:(]
