Hi there,

we just installed the Astaro at our company and all seems to work excellent but ...

We need to create about 200 Users for Internet access. That's a big bunch of crap - clicki click tap tap ... too much steps.

Is it possible to set them up much easier??? The file which shows the users was found by myself but how can I automize this step (especially the HASH creation)...

For VPN access? Use a RADIUS server.

What operating system software are your users using?

The users are needed for HTTP access. No VPN nor RADIUS. Our staff is connecting onto Windows2000 through Citrix Metaframe and from this Windows 2000 they are connection to the web.

Either you can define all users on your ASL or you have to authenticate with RADIUS. On your RADIUS, define all Users who are allowed to access to the INternet and add them to a group, e.g Proxy Users. Every User has to login via username and password.

Hi,
if you use an Win2000 Domain let it authenticate the users for your ASL.

Or use MS's Radius: Internet Authentication Services (IAS).

There's also WinRadius...
