Has anyone tried installing a ad filter program on their ASL box? I can't remember the name of the one I had seen off the top of my head. I thought it would be a nice addon.
Late reply but I just read your post, and either other people like spam or don't like the idea of adding stuff to the firewall box.
Anyway, there is a small proxy solution called Junkbuster which I have used on a RedHat box earlier that really works great, however as to getting it on the ASL box means [wildguess mode=on] that you need to get the pluspack to compile the sources and then fiddle some to get it running[wildguess mode=off].
Anyone with a precompiled Junkbuster binary for the ASL 4.016 kernel ?
