POP3Vscan sourcecode

 Hi all,

I repeat this message in this forum as its not clear if its a general or hackers question. 

I clearlly understand Astaro is not completelly GPL so I'm not going to ask for the complete source code of it, much that I would like to [:)]

But I have seen Astaro has solved a couple of bugs in pop3vscan application. As we are using it too (remember I was the guy that pointed them to the application ) I would like to get the sourcecode of it.

I have contacted the original author and have tried to use the binary directly without luck. Is there any way I can get this updated source? 

As GPl code, Astaro needs to provide this sourcecode some way if asked. Some time ago an Astaro staff member said they were going to release a sourcecode cdrom but I havent seen a clue about it. Also, as I'm just interested in this application I wouldnt mind a different way to get it.

    of course pop3vscan is GPL-code and available with all (small) modifications we made!
    First section of the first paragraph of the license agreement says:

    1. Description of the Software
    (1)  "Astaro-OSS"  is  a  specialized Linux  distribution  with
    enhanced  firewall  functionality. It is  distributed  as  Open
    Source  Software according to the respective license conditions
    applicable to the respective elements of Astaro-OSS as set  out
    in Exhibits 1 and 2. The sources for Astaro-OSS can be  ordered 
    on CD from Astaro (Astaro AG, Jahnstrasse 1,  76133  Karlsruhe, 
    Germany), the cost is Euro 30.00 plus shipping cost.

    The source codes of the new V4 are ready for shipping  on next monday.
