A few questions

Hey there

I just installed Astaro v4 on a Pentium 2 233mhz PC and it didnt work, it hund at the memory freeing kernel bit!! Are the pentium 2's not supported either??

Now i am at the moment downloading the ISO file of ASL 3.390 - does this version support Pentium 2? Also i have an Efficent Networks 5861 router, and i want to bridge traffic from my router to the astaro box - will this work? I am in the UK so the i run ADSL and it comes over PPPOA not PPPOE Will this work? And if so how will i set this up? Thanks for any help

I had 3.390 installed on a P2-266, 64MBRAM. I did , however, have problems when installing it using a 2.5 GB HDD. I switched to a 6.4 and all was well. I'm now using a P2-400, 128MB, 6.4GB with great success.

What about PPPOA in 3.90? Is it enabled??

Hi CharlieD,

think about 3.90 is a BETA of ASL4.
By the way are you really shure that your processor is a P2 233 MMX and not a P1? [;)]
