I would like to re-open the same issue and see if someone has any ideas of how to get serial LCD's like Matrix and others work on the ASL v4. It looks like ASL v4 handles the LCD support a bit different and the previous instructions no longer work.
If somone has any ideas on how to get this to work, please be kind to let me know.
