I heard through a little bird that it is the final, and any remaining bugs will be worked out through future up2dates.

The ASL 4.0 iso is not a beta version if you has read the news you can read there is ASL 4.0 released 31/1-03

I think there's just the Documentation missing which should be there before offical anouncements.
And when you install 4.000 you'll see that there is no more "BETA"-Text in the upper left corner :-)
So what is it .... worth to be installed!

Btw. i've running 2 of those beta or not!!!

if this would be a beta, there should be any beta tags/logos.. I think they are waiting for something (e.g. docs, like Jui said) to announce it publically...

anyway.. I installed it and saved the iso-md5sum, so I can check with the announcement  [:)]

It looks like the real deal And agreed they must be waiting on the docs.  As the docs folder is empty.

Actually, I talked with my Astaro sales rep today.  The real 4.0 has currently been released, but the docs will probably not be ready until around 4/7.

If this is the real release of v4 are there any plans to put out an up2date to upgrade the beta version, or astaro expecting everyone to totally reinstall there fw's?

So the ISO file on the ftp site IS FINAL, but not yet supported. I Know, because the don't reply on any of my mail concerning ver. 4  [:(]ssues...
