Well, it's established that there's no IDS in 3.2. So where should it go? I've got an ADSL connection being maintained by a Linksys router that my ASL box is connected to. Where should my IDS machine go? Between the Linksys and ASL? The linksys has a switch built in. should the ASL and IDS machine be run into a hub then into one port of the switch? I'm not quite sure how the IDS machine would function in this environment. A little help please.
