ok, i have the FW200 from Advantech.
Using a laptop with a nic port in it, i installed astaro 3.2 on to an available 2.5" hdd. i then took that hdd and put it in the firewall appliance and attempted to boot, no go.
now i remember in the past with other devices and installing/running astaro on them that it would always stop at the boot/lilo prompt and would not continue to boot. i have used another firewall/router linux type distro that will boot on this firewall appliance without the video on the system. i did look through the archives but could not find any complete discussions about it.
my question is actually this: is there a way to tell astaro to boot without video?
on a side note, the firewall appliance does have a pci slot inside and i was able to hook up a video card and boot the system completely and load the new modules for 3 nic ports.
