I seem to have found a problem in 3.052...
If I set Sender Address Verification ON in SMTP Relay / Proxy settings, I get a Temporary Error, sender's host couldn't be verified, or something like that, when trying to send an email thru Astaro (relaying is enabled and does work).
After I turned on the DNS proxy AND put in a forwarding server, it started working.
But the Help on the DNS proxy page says that Astaro will do root lookups if an External Nameserver isn't defined, so it should have still worked!
Also, I seem to recall that the proxy does should not need to be enabled for the mail proxy to work. In fact, the notification emails have been getting delivered, so obviously DNS has been working.
Also, the Help is out of date, "External Nameserver" now seems to be "Forwarding Name Servers" on the DNS Proxy page.
One more thing...
The RBL option allows multiple RBL servers... are they all checked for each email, or is this in case one goes down?
Thanks,
Barry
