I would like to report that the anonymity settings in the HTTP proxy give me problems with www.hotmail.com and www.astaro.org.
The 3.051 beta notes state
* Proxies -> HTTP: Browser ID is only anonymized if setting is 'paranoid'
I have been trying to run in the Standard setting so far the only two websites I have problems with are the ones listed above. I have to change back to the None setting in order to login into www.hotmail.com. And when I tried to post a reply to www.astaro.org, even though I was able to login (banner said >>Hello, Craig White [logout]. When I click post reply the site informed me I was not logged in.
I do not have any rules that block http traffic from my internal LAN. I run all http traffic through the proxy. My proxy setting are:
Operation Mode > Standard
Log Level > full
Anonymity > None I would like Standard
Networks > eth0_Network_ my internal LAN
Block HTML Content > Web Bugs
No surf portection files running.
