rules takes no effect!?????

Hello@all,

i set one rule for one pc:
192.168.100.211 service:http any drop

so i think, the rule is activated... but nothing is... this workstation can serve over the web again...

Why take my rules no effect?

hi,

did you activate the rule by clicking on the circles on the left of the rule, it should be red first.
green = active!
red = inactive!

try setting the rules as ANY | HTTP | 192.168.100.211 | Drop or Deny and see what happened.

Again, what about HTTP proxy? Enabled and maybe
operating in the transparent mode?
In this case the proxy automatically translates
all packets directed to port tcp/80.

Also, the order that the packet filter rules appear is important! For example,

ANY | HTTP | 192.168.100.211 | Drop

should appear before

LAN | HTTP | ANY | Allow
