Problems installing ASL 3.040 on a Intel Server

Hi,
I'm trying to install ASL 3.040 on a Intel Server and ASL doesn't detect the NIC's nor the RAID controller.

The server has the following hardware:
- SC5000 chassis
- Intel Server Board SBT2 - dual xeon
- 1 x Intel Pentium III Xeon - 1gz
- Intel RAID Controller SRCU31L-A
- 2 x SCSI Hard Disks setup with RAID1
- 1 x Intel PRO/100+ NIC (integrated on board)
- 2 x 3Com 3C996B-T Gigabit NIC

I know that the RAID controller and the Intel NIC work with the 2.4 kernel.

    Both have eepro100.o in /lib/modules/.../kernel/drivers/net/  

    AFAIK that is the right module for the Intel cards.

    However, the problem is during installation, so what is on the hard drive on a different machine doesn't necessarily mean what is going on during the 3.050 installation detection is correct.

    We're getting a new Dell/Intel 1U server this week for ASL; I expect it will have these nics, and I hope I can get 3.x working on it asap.
