NAT logging?

Hey Guys,

I need a way to trace where employees are going on the net. And if possible how long they are going there and which employee was there.

I am currently just using NAT out with a LOCAL > HTTP > ANY rule. I know I can ban by IP to restrict certain sites. Is there a way though I can do the above?

hi resistance,

a squid proxy with authentication would at least provide the informations you're looking for: who surfed on which sites, when that was - but not how long, cause HTTP is stateless.

but be careful, maybe you have to inform your employees that you are able and willing to do this ...

Yeah we did tell the employees.. but the owner wants me to track down a few key sites. Thanks for the help I will try it out
