BIND hack

Does anyone know how to hack the auto-compilation of named.conf ?? I work for a school district and if I have to ask for a second machine just to run DNS off of I'm going to get laughed at. Astaro seems to be a great product....but being able to do other things with it really is crucial for people that cant afford multiple servers.

If anyone has any help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in Advance.

Hi there,

i see no possibility to do that in version 2.0xx.
In the new release of the beta version you only have to modify a config file to do this.

Hey thanks Polluxxx.

May I inquire as to which file that is ? Are you happy with the new beta version? Is it stable and robust enough to be put into an active role on a network? I'm always weary of using betas :-)

Hi netadmin19,

you find these files in 3.030 in /var/chroot-bind/etc and /var/chroot-bind/zones: please modify the files ending with -default.
