one should NOT put any services ( except the proxies already built in ) on a firewall box.

Set up the mars-nwe on a seperate machine on youre dmz or internal network and dnat it on the firewall ( including the according ruleset ).

However if you did want to set up another service/proxy/whatever the way to do it is to copy an environment that exists at the moment in /var/chroot-xxxx and install it there...
