I really like the new features of the BETA, but seem to have a few issues:
Configuration: Primary FW is ASL 2.019, with BETA 3.020 running behind it and using the ASL 2.019 box as the gateway, static IP (private network), no plus pack.
This configuration works fine, all rules, email, proxies, ect.
Problem:
I added the ASL Plus pack, and DHCP hack to allow me to use the BETA on attbroadband.com cable service, registered the MAC, and once connected direct to the cable modem, obtain an IP from them.
Proxy HTTP and DNS work, it seems other rules quit working. I even added ANY ANY ANY as the top rule, and Outlook cannot get or send email. MSN does work (uses the HTTP proxy). Ping, traceroute, no longer work, I am getting ICMP messages from an internal wireless hub, that 2.019 does not report via syslog. Syslog does work in the BETA. I get many messages that it is stopping ipsec, then it reports ipsec does not appear to be running. It also appears that even in the disabled mode for SMTP proxy, exim is still restarting.
