Radius Server unreachable or malfunction - v3.020

I am trying to setup Radius Authentication for WebAdmin in the new beta - v3.020

I have followed the "UserAuthentication.txt" document and have created and setup everything as recomended, however when I connect to ASL using the browser I get the following error message displayed "Radius Server unreachable or malfunction, please use fallback account to log in".

I setup the IAS for "HTTP" proxy, using the "http" wildcard as suggested in the docs. Should this be something else for the WebAdmin Radius Access?

All of the services are running fine.

Does anyone have any ideas?

which radius port is configured on your server.
Might be that Astaro uses the old one 1645.

Hmm. I did not see anywhere in the WebAdmin where you can configure the Radius Port? Where do I look / change it? What is it supposed to be?

I just followed the instructions located on the DOCS.ASTARO.ORG website for setting up the Radius Authentication and did not see anything talking about the port?

please take a look into the NT/2000 event log. you should see IAS "access denied" warnings whenever you load the ASL logon screen.

if those warnings do not appear, the RADIUS server does not receive the access request packet for some reason.

we can then investigate further ... [;)]
