You are really giving me the chills here.... distributed.net client on a firewall? You must trust those at distributed.net a whole lot [;)]
But to your question - no I have not. But it shouldn't really be a problem. Just install the ASL pluspack and compile the thing.
Keep in mind though, that when your firewall is running the distributed.net client, you are not only potentially compromising security, but you are also using max power instead of just a little now and then. If you are a home user, you may - as I - have your firewall inside an apartment or something. The fan noise and cooling needs will increase too.
I will happily waste those cycles, knowing that my firewall is ready to work when I throw things at it.
Just my $0.02

(maybe you need to install the astaro pluspack, i have it installed so dont know if it can run without it, and BTW, cant feel its running, everything works as fast as its used to)
