HTTP Virus Scan

There is a Squid redirector called "viralator" that will perform virus checking on downloaded files before sending them to the client. Be warned, the complete file has to be on the proxy before it checks, so in a sence, you are downloading twice. it works tho, which is nice.

  Before I go and on a venture of implementing "viralator" to add a HTTP Anti-Virus scan functionality, I have a few questions that you might be able to address.

Does the next v3.0 release is planning to have HTTP Anti-Virus scan intergated? If, not will it be at all?

Are there any "gottchas" or show stoppers that prevents me to implement a third party product like "viralator"?

If I already pay for Anti-Virus License, can I use the same license for HTTP scan implemenmtation?

Are there any other products/implementation that you are aware of or can recommend that would accomplish the same thing? Possibly from the Anti-Virus engine company that we use already?

What is the argument that one can present for providing a product that supports Anti-Virus scanning, but the finding out that it's only SMTP and not HTTP?  How do you sell and explain that?
