PPPoE running but no Masq

I got the PPPoE running and starts out fine and connects.   But I need ASL to see ppp0 and not eth1 (eth1 being the ADSL connection)  any suggestion on how to fix this?  I want to masq or proxy it.  Also i need to setup rules for incoming traffic?

I assume the rules will be easy because I just gotta use a subnet rule to cover all the possible IPs the PPPoE can have...   


Also looking forwards to more betas leading up to RC1 (or Beta 3)

    Well I did read this post and I attempted to try it.   But when I got to this step

    2- edit /etc/wfe/conf/netdata and enter something similar to this :
    net_10#Dsl#


    I got lost...  The rest of the lines dont match what you were saying here...  I tried several combinations of setup but I could never get it to display in the Masq section.

    I have read everything on this forum that i could before I posted this.  I was just hoping for someone to give me an idea of something I may have done wrong...

    All right then, let see.

    Net_10 in my case is a definition of my internal segment, so it is set as 10.0.0.0/32 so that I can use it.  So in Masquerading, net_10 now point to Dsl !  Which mean, everything in 10.0.0.0 gets to be masquerade.

    I've recently put a cron on this iptables lines cause when you enter WebAdmin, something somewhere put it back the old way.  So I got a script that starts start_pppoe.sh at boot up and then another script that does the iptables thing.  Then again, the cron run the iptables thing every 5 minutes in my case.

    well bdaansereau my first problem is my IP address.  I have a dynamic IP so does that mean everytime i have to reconnect I would have to edit that file?  

    Also when I edit /etc/wfe/conf/netdata I dont see it showup in Masq services..  another issues?

    Also last question is once that happens since Dsl should be a Definition could I configure DNAT to allow incoming services like FTP, HTTP, so forth

    DSL |  HTTP |  SERVER  |  ALLOW 
    as an example?

    also when I edit edit /etc/wfe/conf/netdata  it puts a net_10#DSL in my Definitions and NOT Masq?  so am I missing something?
