DHCP with 3 NICs (w/DMZ)

Benoit maybe you can help me out. [;)]

I am trying to set up the following config.

eth0 - Internal - 192.168.1.0
eth1 - External (DHCP using your scripts.)
eth2 - DMZ - 192.168.3.0

If I run an ifconfig it shows the proper info for eth1 so I am pretty sure that the DHCP is working properly. Plus I can ping out and resolve addresses from the ASL box. Problem is that I need some help with the routing setup because I cannot get out from the internal network. I am sure that if I can get the internal network routing setup I will be able to get the rest of it working. I just need a little push.

(my apologies to anyone who read this same post in the F,R,N,M board and is seeing it again.)

Can you give me a hand?

Hi BurbankGeek,

First of all, what is your netmask ?
Then, are you new to Astaro ? If yes, have you put any rule in place ? Are you using the proxy ? Have you set up masquarading since your internal ip are private ?

Let's start with this and see the rest later !

I got it all worked out. Thanks Benoit. This is an excellent product. Easy to use even for a beginner like me. Next project: get Tripwire to run in chroot. Anyone know how to pull it off??? hehehe. Thanks for all the help guys. Keep up the good work.

Hi,

I´m also trying to set up DHCP on my Astaro box with a config just like yours only my external connection is ADSL. Please send my anything to help me out. My doubts are:

1 - Where do I pick up the DHCP scripts
2 - How do I get the scripts on the Astaro box and make it work.

As you con see I´m new to linux and ASL.
