Segmentation Fault running WebAdmin

Hi,

Monday morning blues...  [:S]

Tried to log into Astaro WebAdmin this morning only to find 500 Server Error.  Logged in via SSH and checked the HTTP error log and tried to run /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/admin.pl from the shell only to receive "Segmentation Fault" every time.

Only thing to get rid of the problem was to issue a reboot (which did a shutdown without a restart - this has happened to me more than once, even from within WebAdmin).

Perhaps a memory leak?  I have been playing with PPTP functions most recently.  I'm Currently running Astaro 1.930.

    admin.pl is NOT the webadmin ..

    the WebAdmin is index.pl or index.cgi.

    please watch the httpd error log while producing the error with a browser and post the output here. this should never happen ....

    Hi Tom,

    I checked the history in my terminal session and it was index.pl (symlink to index.cgi) that I was trying - sorry for the confusion!

    I was tailing the httpd logs yesterday which didn't give me any clue to what was wrong (hence why I tried direct at the command prompt to see what I would get back)



    Firewall functions seemed to be working okay at the time, but no web admin.

    Hi, I have the same problem, it has happend for me several times in a few days and I have the exact same output as the message above in http.error_log. This have occoured for when i have opened the live packet log.

    had the same problem.
    at console "segmentation fault" and a lot of numbers.

    i changed the memory modules and it worked.
    do i have to reinstall asl for the new memory amount to be recognized from ASL?
