    The error occurs when Acc is not stopped prior to rpm installation. Did you update by hand, or via webadmin? 

    The update worked on a lot of machines, so I figure that this is no general problem. It would now be interesting, why it failed on your machine. Have you tried updating again? Do you have high load? Maybe you could have a look at the accd.log to see if there is a reason why stopping accd failed.
