[2.060][QUESTION] Can't add DNS Host for SNMP Trap sink

Why can't we set DNS Host as Host for  SNMP trap sink ?

Is there any reason, because if we set the host as Availabilty Group there we can have DNS Host...

Should I say inconsistency ? OK, going out [:D]

Note that I've not set the state as BUG or COSMETIC, just QUESTION... because as far as INCONSISTENCIES I have some others [[[:)]]] (ie: in the portal where a user change password it say ... PPTP [[[:)]]], is there any PPTP somewhere into ACC ? [[[:)]]] )

    you are relentless [:P]

    I will cover the End-user Portal "misleading" PPTP issue first. Yep, I know, it is ugly but it can't be helped. The Portal is used on every derivate of AxG, e.g. ASG, AWG, AMG and now also ACC. There is only one definition file for the localized texts in the Portal and it applies to all products. For some of the products, it fits perfectly - others like AMG and ACC do not offer PPTP.

    As for the SNMP trap sink and DNS host issue ... *whew* should be the same as on ASG - there should not be a different behavior but we probably do not support Availability Groups.
